招き猫は幸運を招く置物として古くから人気があります。

Maneki Neko has long been popular as a luchy figurine.

招き猫が右手を上げているとお金を招く、左手を上げていると人を招くと言われています。

It is said that the beckoning cat raises his right hand,invites mony,and raises his left hand,inviting people.

達磨は江戸時代に縁起物として飾られるようになり、赤色は魔除けの効果があると信じられていました。

It was believed that the daruma could be decorated as a lucky charm in the Edo period,and that red was an amulet effect.

現在では願い事をする時に、達磨の左目を書き込み、願いが叶ったら達磨の右目を書き込む縁起物として飾られています。

At present it is decorated as a lucky cham to write the Daruma’s left eye when making a wish and write the Daruma’s right eye when the wish is fulfilled.
